The therapy is based on ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and provides an opportunity to observe, examine, and identify what is holding you back. At times, we are driven by fixations and old habits that once served us, but no longer benefit us and keep us from the life we want to live.
At the heart of our process, we will examine which thoughts, feelings, and behaviors hold you back, and which actions will move you toward the person you want to be. By identifying your core values, we will develop psychological flexibility, learning to sit with uncomfortable emotions without avoiding them, and generating steady, active movement toward a meaningful life.
The entire process can take place at the clinic, via Zoom, or while moving in nature.
"Every person possesses the inner strength and resources to be attentive and self-aware, to create behavioral change, set goals, grow, and heal themselves."
I am Muli, a licensed psychologist (License No. 186062) practicing ACT. I hold a BA in Psychology and an MA in Social Psychology, with a focus on Sports Psychology, both with honors, from Reichman University. I am part of the training facilitation team at the Reichman University 'Hosen Center' therapeutic clinic. In my work, I integrate practices from sports psychology to treat adolescents, young and adult athletes, as well as corporate professionals.
I work with a humanistic-counseling approach, focusing on the interpersonal relationship as the primary catalyst for change.
I believe the ideal environment for conversation is welcoming, accepting, empathetic, and non-judgmental—one that allows you to connect with your existing resources and use them for change, coping, building resilience, and restoring self-efficacy.
I believe in our internal healing power and our ability to live full, worthy lives, even in the face of life crises, anxiety, and burnout.
I see great value in psycho-education making tools and knowledge accessible so individuals can understand themselves and generate mindful, responsible change.
The knowledge I bring is based on my training at the Cohen-Harris Resilience Center (Outi Association), utilizing an integrative model that combines contemporary therapeutic approaches such as ACT, Humanistic Psychology, Logotherapy, Stoic Philosophy, Buddhism, and Sports Psychology.
